1. Overview
MasterAIKit.com provides free guides, a free checklist, digital products (Local AI Starter Kit and Obsidian AI Vault), and a paid Setup Review service. These Terms govern your use of all of the above.
2. Digital Products (Starter Kit & Obsidian Vault)
- Licensing: When you purchase a digital product, you receive a personal-use license for your own use. The product is licensed to you, not sold.
- Refunds: Due to the nature of downloadable digital products, all sales are non-refundable after download. If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase, contact us and we will help resolve it.
- Delivery: Digital products are delivered electronically immediately after successful payment via Lemon Squeezy.
3. Setup Review Service
- What's included: One personalized review of your hardware and AI goals, including model recommendations, configuration files, and a 30-minute consultation. One revision is included.
- Timeline: Your Setup Review will be completed within 7 days of receiving your hardware information and intake form.
- Refunds: The Setup Review is fully refundable if work has not yet started. Once we have begun the review process (analyzing your specs, writing recommendations, or scheduling the consultation), the service is non-refundable.
- Revisions: One revision is included. Additional revisions are available at our standard hourly rate. Contact us for details.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any product files, templates, checklists, or configuration files
- Share your downloaded product with others — each purchase grants a single-user license
- Repost, republish, or reproduce guide content from this site without written permission
- Use our products or content for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source materials
Free guides on this site may be linked to and shared freely. Product files (paid or downloaded) may not be redistributed.
5. No Warranty
Local AI setups vary significantly based on your hardware, operating system, software versions, and configuration. We provide guides, recommendations, and configurations based on real testing, but:
- Results depend on your specific hardware and environment. A model that runs well on our test machine may perform differently on yours.
- All products, guides, and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that any specific model, tool, or configuration will work on your system.
- We are not responsible for data loss, system instability, or hardware issues that may arise from following any guide or recommendation.
We always recommend backing up your data before making system changes.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- MasterAIKit.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our site, products, or services.
- Our total maximum liability for any claim related to your use of this site or its products and services is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim (the purchase price).
- We are not liable for any damage to your hardware, software, or data resulting from following guides, recommendations, or setup instructions.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on MasterAIKit.com — including guides, benchmarks, screenshots, logos, designs, and product files — is the property of MasterAIKit.com and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute our content without permission, except for personal use as described in these Terms.
8. Third-Party Links & Affiliate Disclosure
This site contains links to third-party websites and tools (e.g., Ollama, Open WebUI, Amazon). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or functionality of third-party sites. Some links are Amazon affiliate links — see our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
9. Pricing & Changes
We reserve the right to change pricing, product offerings, and service terms at any time. Any changes to pricing will not affect purchases you have already made. We may update these Terms periodically — continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
